Japan Engineers Federation Starts Recruiting and Placement Services for
Engineers and Professionals
NPO Japan Engineers Federation (JEF) (located in Tokyo with Chairman: Katsumi Hoshino) is an NPO established in July 2006.
JEF started recruiting and placement services for Asian engineers, in addition to the conventional recruiting and placement services for professional engineers and business professionals in Japan.
With the aging of the Japanese population and the lack of Japanese human resources due to the retirement of senior engineers and the declining birth rate, Japanese companies are employing more Asian engineers at their Asian plants. Moreover, as packaged orders by multinational companies are also increasing, the necessity of “technology transfer” that realizes the smooth transfer of engineers and researchers among industries, areas and countries is increasing.
Features of the Recruiting and Placement services in Asia
(1) We will refer Asian trainees who received training and acquired professional technology in Japan to the Japanese companies’ branches in Asia.
(2) We will refer Asian engineers with technical knowledge and skills to the Japanese headquarters.
(3) We will refer Asian engineers to companies within Asia.
Japan Engineers Federation has been promoting international exchanges with the concept of “Technology is the world’s common asset” and “One world of technology” and has been deploying various activities that contribute to the activation of industry in Asian countries through recruiting and placement of engineers in Asia.
Japan Engineers Federation is an NPO chartered by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, that conducts recruiting and job placement activities for professional engineers.
